RTW needed a rebrand that reinforced its mission while setting it apart from industry leaders like Flagship Pioneering and Blackstone. The challenge was to craft an identity that elevated its presence—one that conveyed deep scientific expertise, a passion for transformative healthcare, and the approachable nature of its team. The new brand had to balance the analytical precision of investment with the pioneering spirit of scientific discovery.

SThree’s fragmented brand structure and siloed sub-brands diluted its ambition. We repositioned the company with a bold strategy, unifying the architecture while preserving sub-brand expertise. Moving to a unified endorsement model, we elevated SThree from a STEM recruitment leader to a distinct category of its own—creating a consistent, future-ready brand that reinforces leadership, showcases full industry depth, and sets it apart from competitors.

Where science meets investment
To align RTW’s brand with its core mission, we defined a powerful north star—‘Our Conviction’—placing their unique insights and pioneering spirit at the heart of the identity. Designing a bold visual language that fused scientific innovation with strategic investment, developing a dynamic grid system and approach to colour that reflected their selective nature and market analysis.
A modular approach to imagery
By creating an illustration system that leveraged the brand’s geometric simplicity, we transformed complex scientific ideas into compelling, accessible narratives. We also established a voice and content engine that amplified the perspectives of scientists, investors, and entrepreneurs within the firm.
